Product Safety Recall the PA-10 AC Adapter MG10, MG10X, MG10XU, MG10XUF, MG12XUK
Why the product is recalled:
Why the product is recalled: Yamaha has learned via reports received that some of the AC adapters, the PA-10, for select MG series mixers have developed cracks in the plastic housing.
Hazard: Smoke and possible electric shock may occur by touching the insides of the adapter.
Action: In response to this issue Yamaha Music Australia would like to request all customers that are using the affected AC adapter to stop using it immediately and disconnect the plug from the power outlet and the MG series mixer.
Yamaha Music Australia will offer a complimentary AC adapter replacement to all customers affected. This process will be managed via an online portal with can be found here here.
Yamaha would like to sincerely apologise for any problems that this may cause.
Note: Only some of the PA-10 Adapters are affected - checking the 4 digits that can be found on the rear Case of the PA-10 Affected adapters are those with a number range of 2126-2319. Any adapters outside of thsi number range are not affected.
